Ci sono solo delle scritte sulle pareti e nelle nicchie

sepolcrali scavate nel muro, brevi frasi a mano libera

in color rosso e nero, o graffite nello stucco con un

dito, oblique verso il basso o di sbieco da destra a

sinistra, con l'autentica trasandatezza degli etruschi,

così piena di vita. Possiamo leggere nelle antiche

lettere etrusche queste scritte disinvolte, che hanno

l'aria di essere state graffite da qualcuno proprio ieri,

senza pensarci tanto, con facilità. Ma dopo che le

abbiamo lette, non sappiamo che cosa significano.

Scritture pseudo-etrusche che "parlano" soltanto

interrogandosi sul perché del proprio ordine interno,

del loro esser dis-poste a raccogliere - e ripetere - un

messaggio sovraumano, inaudito, quasi irridicibile.

Nella paradossale eclissi della mano tracciante, la loro

illeggibilità costringe a una domanda sul Senso dello

"Found out" writings

Only there are the writings on the wall, and in the

burial niches in the wall, little sentences freely written

in red paint or black, or scratched in the stucco with

the finger, slanting with the real Etruscan

carelessness and fullness of life, often running

downwards, written from right to left. We can read

these debonair inscriptions, that look as if someone

had just chalked them up yesterday without a tought,

in the archaic Etruscan letters, quite easily. But when

we have read them we don't know what they mean.

Pseudo-Etruscan writings wich "talk" only questioning

themselves on the reason of their own interior order,

of their being ready (or pre-pared) to receive and

repeat an unprecedented, supehuman, almost

irreducible message. In the paradoxical eclipse of the

drawing hand, their unreadable character forces us to

question ourselves on the meaning of writing
